This afternoon, I went for a run at Elk Meadow Open Space Park in Evergreen, about 15 minutes from my home. I never get to see this many elk this close, and I just had to capture this moment (I’ll also post this over on my travel/photography blog, Jan’s Pictures and Words)
Seeing something like this is one of the positives of living in Colorado. It really makes you appreciate nature and gives you a whole different perspective on how we can do whatever we can to preserve it.
